Join us at Headquarters to assemble this year's HAL Swag bags. We expect to put together a couple of hundred bags and could use your help getting them packed.

Friday Evening Supply Transport HQ to Upper Gwynedd Park

Details

Meet us at HQ at 4pm to help transport supplies (like swag bags, tables and raffle baskets) to the Upper Gwynedd Park. We'll need your help loading supplies into your car and transporting them to the park. We'll have volunteers at the Park to help unload.

Saturday Morning Set Up

Details

Meet us bright (actually, dark) and early to set up for the event. The end time for this slot (8am) is flexible. You can absolutely sign up for another volunteer post that starts before then. We encourage you, if you can, to sign up for another spot after set up :)

Please be aware that we cannot assign specific setup tasks until that morning, as we won't know what needs to be done. Be ready to jump in and ask where help is needed!

We have over 75 Vendors attending and we need your help checking them in, directing them to their designated spots and helping with set up.

Directions & Parking High Priority

Details

Direct vendors and attendees toward load-in and parking areas within Parkside Place parking lot and the Merck lot across the street from the park. Must be comfortable being firm when directing vendors and attendees.

5K Course Marshal High Priority

Direct our 5K runners throughout the course and cheer them on! Marshals will be spread out along the 5K route.

Race Sweeper

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

One volunteer is needed to follow behind the final runner. You'll notify all of our Course Marshals that the final runner has passed, and dismiss them from their posts!

Water Station

Dog Walk Leader

Have you done the dog walk at this event every year? Or a few times? Do you know the route well and want to lead the rest of the walkers? This is for you.

We need a volunteer who has had experience with this walk to take the lead. A map will be provided, and we will have marshals along the walk, but this person will be the head of the group.

Costume Contest

Organize the participants for the costume contest, and guide them to the stage

Clean Up

Help us get the park back to its original state. There is a lot to breakdown and tidy up at the end this event, so your help is very much appreciated!
